All annual contributions to the Yosef Club provide financial support toward App State student-athletes scholarships. In addition, each student-athlete costs approximately $50,000 annually when factoring in all the expenses: scholarships, meals, lodging, nutrition, health, insurance, travel, aid, and supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Yosef Club is the annual giving program of Appalachian State Athletics. Its primary purpose is to provide scholarship support for App State student-athletes. In addition to scholarships, Yosef Club contributions help fund programs, resources, and experiences that enhance the overall student-athlete experience and support competitive excellence.

Any portion of your donation that exceeds a Required Seat Donation (RSD) may be tax-deductible. If your gift is not associated with season tickets or seating requirements, it is generally 100% tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

Parking is allocated based on availability and your Yosef Club giving level. To be eligible for a specific parking lot, you must have a pledge on file that meets or exceeds the minimum donation requirement for that lot.

Each year, the Mountaineers Athletic Fund (MAF) provides a Parking Change Request Form on the MAF website under the season tickets and parking tab. To be considered for a different parking location, you must complete and submit this form during the designated request period.

Joining the Yosef Club is the first step toward securing season tickets, obtaining season parking, and accessing the benefits associated with your membership level. Your support directly impacts the success of App State student-athletes while providing priority access to tickets and parking opportunities.

Yes. As long as you maintain the required minimum donation level associated with your seating location, you may retain your season tickets. Opportunities to relocate seats, add seats, or reduce seats are available during the annual renewal process.

Yes. Many employers offer matching gift programs that can increase the impact of your donation. Matching gifts may be applied to the portion of your contribution that exceeds any per-seat giving requirement. Contact your employer's Human Resources department to determine eligibility and submit a matching gift request.
